Piaggio Aerospace, S.p.A. is a multinational aerospace manufacturing company headquartered in Villanova d’Albenga / Italy. Its origins date back to the former Rinaldo Piaggio S.p.A. company (established 1884), making it one of the world’s oldest airplane manufacturers. Piaggio Aero Industries was established in its current form in November 1998, when a group of shareholders headed by Piero Ferrari and Josè Di Mase acquired the assets of Rinaldo Piaggio. Today the majority owners are the Mubadala Investment Group / Abu Dhabi.

Based on the platform P180  the Avanti II, as well as it’s successor the Avanti EVO, are well known aircraft for the executive / corporate clientele.

The aircraft characteristic makes it furthermore an ideal aircraft in the field of Special Missions & Medical Evacuation services.

In the military / government market the “MPH” serving special missions, as well as the unmanned aerial aircraft  “P1HH”  are based on the P180 platform and are gaining global recognition for it’s performances.
